2023 has been a crazy year! I went from working at a clinic to starting my own business. I am thankful for the past 11 months, from where my business started to where it is now.
A couple of positive lights/reflections:
I've been able to help over 100 patients, ranging from adolescents, adults, pregnant and postpartum women, geriatrics, etc.
I am able to see 4-5 patients a day (compared to 8 patients/day at my previous job) and truly invest in my clients without feeling burned out, exhausted, drained, and compassion fatigue
I feel like I've really gotten to know my patient as people, not just as patients
I love in-home visits. It not only gives me a little break in between each client to clear my headspace and enjoy some fresh air, but it gives me the opportunity to see how you live and move in your own natural and everyday environments. I am also able to meet your little babies/toddlers!
I gave a talk at Google campus to Google employees about pelvic health! What a great turnout!
